Midnight Sun, video installation, dimensions variable (2009).
Midnight Sun was created for Brighton's 2009 white night event.
A number of filmmakers from different locations are each commissioned to make a film of the sun. They can use any equipment, concept and technique they wish, the only stipulation being that the films must feature the sun.
The resulting films are presented on continuous loops from dawn until dusk, to keep the memory of the sun alive until it returns the next day.
Midnight Sun was exhibited at Phoenix Gallery in Brighton UK, on nuit blanche 24-25/10/09
